UFFL Pickem Challenge
The UFFL Pickem Challenge (previously known amongst UFFL owners as the Yahoo! Football Pickem Challenge before the 2011 season) gives knowledgeable football fans the opportunity to predict the winners of every NFL regular season game on a weekly basis. Most competitors also own franchises in the Ultimate Fantasy Football League, hence the name of the contest. For the 2007 through 2009 seasons, each correct guess resulted in one point, and the champion was the contestant who had accumulated the most points by the end of the regular season.

Beginning with the 2010 campaign, the concept of confidence points was introduced to add an extra level of difficulty to the game. Confidence points are used to give a different weight to each game in a given week; for example, during a week with 16 NFL games, each game would be assigned a point value from 1 to 16 (where contestants would assign higher values to games they felt more confident about). For every correct selection, you would receive points equal to the confidence point value you assigned to the game.

If you correctly picked the San Francisco 49ers to beat the Tennessee Titans and assigned 16 confidence points to the game, you would receive 16 points. If you correctly picked the Detroit Lions to beat the Buffalo Bills and assigned four confidence points, you would get four points. Of course, all incorrect guesses would result in no additional points, regardless of the confidence point value assigned to the game. The winner is the contestant who has accumulated the greatest number of confidence points by the end of the regular season.

Postseason games were added to the pickem contest in the 2010 season.
